Texts From Your Club's Own Name — Plus One-Member Messages and a Searchable Archive

Set the sender name your texts arrive from, message a single member without a broadcast, see exactly who each text went to, and archive old messages with search.

A batch of SMS improvements landed this week, all aimed at making club messaging feel properly yours.

Your name on every text

Head to Settings → Text Messages and set the sender name your members see when a text arrives — up to 11 letters or numbers, for example LYMBOATCLUB. New names are reviewed by our team before going live (this protects clubs against impersonation and keeps us inside mobile-network rules), and the settings page shows you exactly where a request stands. Until a name is approved, texts go out from the shared default.

Text one member

Sometimes a broadcast is too big a hammer. The Messages page now has a One Member tab: search by name or number, check you've got the right person, and send a single text. It counts as one message against your allowance and shows up in your history with the recipient's name — no more guessing who "1 recipient" was.

Archive and search

Message history builds up fast in a busy club. Both email and SMS history now support tick-box selection with a bulk Archive button, an Archived folder, restore, and a search bar over everything you've filed away. Archiving is purely visual — it never changes your usage numbers or billing.
