Texts From Your Club's Own Name — Plus One-Member Messages and a Searchable Archive

Email confirmations are easy to lose in a busy inbox. From this week, members who opt in to SMS booking alerts get two texts that do the remembering for them.
The booking text
The moment a booking is confirmed, the member gets a short text with the boat name, the date, and the slot with its start time. Nothing to open, nothing to search for — the details sit in their messages, ready for a quick glance on the pontoon.
The evening-before reminder
At 6pm the evening before every booking, a reminder goes out: the boat, tomorrow's date, and a nudge to cancel in the app if plans have changed. Clubs that also use email reminders keep those too — the existing "24hr reminder" setting now drives a matching email at the same time.
The details
- Opt-in first — texts only go to members who have SMS booking alerts switched on in their profile, and who have a mobile number on file.
- One text, not three — every message is kept within a single standard SMS, so costs stay predictable.
- From your club's name — texts arrive from your club's sender name, not an anonymous number.
There's nothing to configure — if your members are opted in, it's already working.
